Why Are We Here?

Our Purpose

Our purpose may be explained using the acrostic “GRACE”. We at Grace Baptist Church desire to live our lives to:

G – Glorify God

We exist to glorify God in all that we do. Every program, outreach, or service is designed with this in mind. We use music as another tool of giving God the glory. This is true Worship.  1 Corinthians 10:31  Ephesians 3:21 

R – Reproduce Our Faith

We have been commanded by our Savior to lovingly seek the Lost and to strive to win them to the Savior. We strive to practice this locally and all over the world through our Missions Program. This is Evangelism. Proverbs 11:30 Matthew 28:18-20

A – Apply Our Love

The Lord left us with the command to love one another. Our church enjoys fellowshipping and showing love to one another. This is Fellowship. Acts 2:41-47

C – Conform Our Lives

We are told in the Scriptures not to be conformed to this world, but to be conforming our lives to Jesus Christ and His Word. This is what we strive to do. This is Discipleship.  Romans 12:1-2 Luke 9:23-25 

E – Employ Our Gifts

We believe that God has gifted every member of Grace Baptist Church to help “edify” or “build up” our congregation. We strive as individuals to use our gifts for God’s glory in His church. This is Stewardship. 1 Peter 4:10 Ephesians 4:16
